Apologies and Forgiveness

Apologies and forgiveness are vitally important to our firm because conflicts generate such deep, painful, and lasting emotions.

Without apology and forgiveness, people remain locked in anger, hopelessness and conflict. People are completely stopped.

Denver Lawyer discusses Apologies and Forgiveness

It is not easy, however, to apologize or forgive, and it is not generally a part of the American legal system. Indeed, in the United States, corporate defendants are coached to never admit wrongdoing, to justify, and that apology will result is catastrauphic legal liability. This does not have to be the case.

In representing Defendants in the past, we know that many want to just say "I'm sorry" and to do something to help. Some, of course, do not.

In representing Plaintiffs, we know that many want to hear these meaningful words and see these gestures. People who have suffered loss want to know the facts, and they want to know why.

This firm is exploring the possibilities of incorporating apology into the settlements of its cases so that our clients can free themselves, trust and hope for their futures.
