We are pleased to announce that Attorney Beth Klein has been honored with the Denver Rescue Mission's “Women Who’ve Changed the Heart of the City” Award. This recognition is meant not just to honor women who do amazing things, but who inspire others to look around and get involved with those in need.
Beth Klein has known from a young age that buying and selling human beings is a cruel and horrendous injustice. A mail-order bride in her family caused a great disturbance in her soul, eventually leading her to pursue her law degree. She has made it her life’s mission to eradicate sex slavery and human trafficking, and has written laws in our country and across the globe that makes these unspeakable crimes easier to prosecute. Beth is truly changing the world!
Together with the other winners of this year's “Women Who’ve Changed the Heart of the City” award, Beth was honored at a distinguished black tie event on September 14, 2012.
Beth has worked relentlessly to end human trafficking in the U.S. and around the world. For her efforts, she has also received the following awards and recognitions:
- Most Influential Women in Colorado (Denver Post)
- Case of the Year (Colorado Trial Lawyers Association)
- Woman of the Year (Boulder Professional Women)
- Leading 500 PI Lawyers in America (Lawdragon)
